The Role (Job Summary)

In this role, you will lead the development of image generation algorithms that will impact millions of users worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Design and train deep learning models for advanced image processing and generation.
- Optimize existing computer vision algorithms for real-time performance and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product design and backend teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions.
- Conduct A/B testing on new models and analyze their effectiveness using real-world data.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Python and C++.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead regular code review sessions to ensure high quality.
Requirements & Qualifications: Must-haves
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience in machine learning and computer vision.
- Deep expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with architectures like CNNs, GANs, Diffusion Models, and Vision Transformers.
- Strong proficiency with version control (Git) and MLOps infrastructure (MLflow, Weights & Biases).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency for fluent team communication.
Requirements & Qualifications: Nice-to-haves
- Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Practical knowledge of C++ and performance optimization tools (TensorRT, ONNX).
- A track record of scientific publications at major conferences (CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS).
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup or dynamic development environment.
- Conversational proficiency in the German language.
